Our 16-year-old client suffered from a heightened level of anxiety and has a specific learning difficulty. She was unemployed upon our intervention and had never worked, having just been a winter school leaver.
The client attended a CCP VTF Workplace Skills in Banking course on 13/05/2024. She learned about the variety of jobs within the fraud and banking industry, was introduced to Cyber Security, enhanced her CV, improved personal development and prepared for typical and competency-based interview styles. Additionally, the client gained accredited certificates in Customer Service, GDPR and Microsoft Packages.
The impact of the training resulted in a measurable difference in the client’s confidence, self-belief, employability skills and technical skills. In particular, the client originally said she would only like to present her presentation to one of the instructors but after the course of 2 weeks and with dedicated support and mentoring, she decided to push herself out her comfort zone and present to the whole class (20 people) and did a fantastic job. The client left our course prepared on how to present the best of herself at the future interviews.
Following the course she was accepted on to a Modern Apprenticeship with NatWest.
Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to making a difference. From our volunteers to our staff members, everyone at Vocational Training Framework shares a common goal of helping those in need.
